All list for us different spiritual gifts that God gives to each person when they become a Christian. These gifts are given by the Holy Spirit as the Holy Spirit sees fit (I Corinthians 12:11) and all the gifts are available to each believer for the moment that they are needed for ministry. I Corinthians 12 also tells us that the body of Christ is a living organism just like the human body and that it only functions correctly as each part of the body does it's part. Unless each person uses their gifts, the body of Christ becomes unhealthy and inefficient in accomplishing the task God has given us which is the reach the world for Him.

Below is a basic spiritual gifts test that you can take to help you begin to identify how God has wired you and gifted you. This test is not meant to place you in a box, but to simply move you along on the path of discovering where God can use you most effectively in His kingdom. Simply answer the questions and then score yourself as the test directs you. You will most likely see 2-3 areas that have higher scores than all the rest. This is where you should begin to focus and begin to seek out ministries in the church and/or in the community where you can exercise these gifts. If you don't know where to begin after taking the test, contact your pastor and he will direct you to ministries in the church or community where you can begin to try some things.
